I believe that regardless of whether you operate a nonprofit organisation or a for-profit business your responsibility is to first and foremost to operate in a viable and sustainable manner.

I aim to help people be the best they can be. #BeYouBeYourBest  I achieve this by guiding good decision making, help them plan where they are going, keep them focused and on track as they implement their plan. I apply building blocks to identify gaps in capacity and capabilities, along with business health checks, to inform your decision making. I apply my mentor and coaching experience to build capacity and competencies.

I began my journey in 2002 as a business coach to small business operators. My practice evolved to specialise as a mentor to senior executives and a management coach to front line managers in the health sector, before evolving into a general purpose consulting firm working with nonprofit organisations and small business operators.

From 2006-09 I was the founding Executive Director for Community Southwest Ltd, an alliance of not-for-profit agencies based in south-west Victoria, and during 2017/18 I was Operations Manager and Acting-CEO for Gunditjmara Aboriginal Cooperative.

I have been a mentor to CEO’s, provided coaching to more than 400 executives and frontline managers, created and facilitated workshops in leadership and project management, created and delivered a professional development program in frontline management for nonprofit managers and delivered seminars in future trends. I have provided guidance and advice on best practice governance, executive recruitment, human resources, digital strategies, organisational mergers, fundraising, community engagement, workplace conflict, service delivery reviews and capacity development.

I have operated my consulting business for almost two decades. I also operate an e-commerce store and an online community for artists. In the past I have managed a small printing business, a commercial hydroponic nursery and been assistant manager at a commercial laundry..

I have experience in every aspect of commercial business including marketing, operations, project management, sales and human resources.
